MATERIALS

FACADE

The basic requirement to external furnishing of a building constructed in accordance with STALDOM technology is the use of a ventilated facade. Various materials can be used in this case.

One of the options is a decorative “bark beetle” plaster. It is laid on a polystyrene layer fixed to a magnesite slab. Textured plaster is made of high-quality white cement, high whiteness marble flour and polymeric additives with addition of marble fractional fillers. Basically "Bark beetle" is manufactured in white color. There is a possibility of tinting with full-tone paints.

Marmoroc hinged facade consists of small-scale facade stones fixed with of Z-shaped and channels. Stones are made from marble crumbs, cement and. painting additives. Operation term is expected to make100 years in the most rigid environmental conditions. Frost resistance of  Marmoroc stones makes more than 150 cycles.

Wall profiled flooring as an external furnish is mostly used in case of construction of industrial purpose buildings. Stainless steel board is goffered cold-formed steel board profile. Usually goffer is of the trapezoidal shape. Rather low cost, durability and presentable appearance make this material the most widespread among façades of non-residential buildings.

Block houses and fakes bars allow to simulate wooden structures. Despite higher cost and the necessity of permanent care of wooden external furnish, a facade made of these materials looks rather presentably and unusually.

Other finishing materials also can be applied as a ventilated facade: composite panels, facing brick, decorative stones, siding and others.

ROOFING

Optimum selection of a roofing material is metal tiles, which is proved by the wide popularity of application of this material regardless of a building purpose and a roofing type. Metal tiles are roofing boards of zinced steel with a color polymeric covering. Basic advantages of metal tiles in comparison with other materials for pitched roofs are: small weight, variety of colors and the texture of polymeric coverings, environmental safety as well as reasonable price.

Soft roofing (bitumen tile) suits for buildings with complex roofs, with a considerable amount of cutting. Higher cost and comparatively lower durability are the distinctive features of this material.

Roofing profiled flooring may be applied both for pitched and flat roofs. Roofing professional flooring is especially actual for arrangement of roofs of warehouses, hangars, garages and other non-residential buildings. Its main advantage is the low cost and speed of installation.

HEATER

Cellulose wool, a modern European heater, is used as a heat and sound insulation material. This is an insulation made of cellulose (recycled paper). Cellulose wool is vapor permeable, therefore it excludes occurrence of moisture and condensate due to ability of a wood fiber to bind moisture and to return it without a loss of heat insulating properties.

Composition of cellulose wool: 81 % of the thinnest wood fibers, 12 % of antiseptics, 7 % nonvolatile fire retarders.

Characteristics of cellulose wool:

• Heat insulating properties

Heat conductivity of cellulose heater makes 0,037-0,038. In case of winterization of walls, floors and ceilings it completely fills all cavities, thus forming integral seamless surface and eliminating heat losses. Research works of University of Colorado in Denver (USA) have shown that insulation with cellulose improves tightness of buildings in comparison with mineral wool almost by 38 %. As a result, power efficiency of cellulose almost by 24 % exceeds that of mineral wool.

• Sound insulating properties

Wall structure of 150 mm filled with cellulose wool has a sound insulating ability RW = 93 dB.

Comfortable noise level in a residential premise makes approximately 25-30 dB. This index is regulated by SNiP 2.12.77 “Protection against Noise”, as well as by sanitary norms on noise levels in the territory of a residential site development and in residential premises.

• Fire resistance

Doesn't ignite even at t +1300°С. Fire-prevention properties of a heater are reached due to presence of a fire retarder and natural moisture. Based upon results of flame spreading tests, РП-1 estimation (flame non-spreading) is received.

• Safety

Due to presence of nonvolatile antiseptics harmless for the health of people (borax and boric acid), cellulose wool reliably prevents the appearance of fungi, mold, insects and rodents. According to Conclusion No.05.03.02-04/27207 of the State Sanitary-and-Epidemiologic Expertise as of 01.06.2007, cellulose fibrous material meets the requirements of the effective sanitary laws of Ukraine.

• Ecological compatibility

Cellulose wool meets the requirements of international standard ISO 14024:1999 by ecological criteria of estimation of a product life cycle LP.08.002.07.048 “Heat and Sound Insulating Materials”, Certificate No.UA.08.002.319.

INTERNAL FURNISHING

Often walls and ceilings inside a building are faced with gypsum board. Gypsum boards are made from construction plaster faced with a special cardboard from both sides. Due to its physical and hygienic properties gypsum board is perfect for residential premises. It is environmentally safe, doesn't contain toxic components and doesn't make a harmful impact on environment which is proved by hygienic and radiological certificates. Gypsum cardboard is an energy-saving material and possesses good sound-proof properties.

In premises with a raised content of vapors in the air (in bathrooms etc.) moisture resistant gypsum board is applied.

In residential and commercial buildings (recreation centers, hotels, office premises) wooden wall panels may be used instead of gypsum boards.

Wall profiled flooring is generally applied as the internal furnish in industrial buildings.
